All blends are based on 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Only the 1er Cru, Les Vignes de Vrigny is 100% Pinot Meunier. The Prémisses is a blend with equal parts of the 3 different grape varieties. All cuvées are dosed at 2 grams per liter and the wines are vinified in oak barrels. They then undergo maturation 'sur lattes' for a minimum of 36 months to 72 months for the cuvée V.P. and 84 months for the millésimé.
The style of Egly-Ouriet Champagnes is vinous, mineral and intense with a complex dry long aftertaste.
